 Judas Iscariot, and Caiaphas certainly had very convincing logical argument for their betrayal and they didn’t realize the flaws in their reasoning until it was too late. Indeed, logic can be so deceptive, especially when it is mitigated under a mask of self interest, sometimes with catastrophic outcomes.
